Our Story
Frustrated by inefficiencies in their days-jobs as bankers and fund managers, our founders created Model Reef to automate and streamline financial modelling. The goal was to foster accuracy, speed and collaboration.
What started as an automated series of spreadsheet connections, turned into a three-year journey to build a browser-based platform capable of handling even the most complex financial model.
In 2022, we released our first tool which was free for anyone to use.
Not everyone was as impressed as we were.
Now, users all around the world have access to the productivity increases Model Reef brings. From time and cost savings, to seamless collaboration, Model Reef has become the modelling tool of choice for small businesses and fund managers alike.
